Project Capacity: 100 m³/day
Application: Municipal wastewater treatment || Sewage Treatment Plant
Project Overview
100 m³/day compact wastewater treatment plant is intended for municipal wastewater treatment, serving a municipal sewage system —or can be used for star hotel or residential facility. The project is intended for supply to the Canadian market.
Hinada as a premium, state-of-the-art wastewater treatment solution incorporating advanced treatment MBR technologies, fully automated operation, intelligent process control, and resource recovery capabilities.
Hinada Water Treatment Tech Co., Ltd. offer a comprehensive technical and commercial proposal addressing the requirements outlined below as reference
- Advanced Municipal Wastewater Treatment MBR Technology
A high-performance treatment process suitable for municipal sewage, with a recommended technology selection supported by technical justification.
Key requirements include:
- Advanced biological treatment — Biological treatment including anaerobic and aerobic digest with membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology, high-efficiency solution, with the MLSS around 6000—8000mg/L.
- UV disinfection — to achieve consistently high-quality treated effluent.
- Treated water reuse provision — subject to applicable Canadian standards and intended end use.
- Compact in container, modular design — allowing efficient installation, future expansion, and reliable operation.
- Full Electronic Automation and Intelligent Control
The MBR system delivers fully automated operation with minimal manual intervention.
Control and monitoring requirements:
- Industrial PLC-based control system integrated with a modern SCADA platform and intuitive HMI.
- Online monitoring of critical operating parameters, including flow rate, pH, dissolved oxygen DO, turbidity, and other relevant process indicators.
- Automated process adjustment, alarm management, fault detection, and remote monitoring capabilities.
- Secure remote access, operational data logging, historical reporting, and performance monitoring.
- IoT-enabled monitoring and advanced analytics integration, where technically appropriate.
- Automated equipment sequencing, emergency alarms, and fail-safe operating procedures.
- Sludge Treatment and Organic Fertilizer / Soil Amendment Production
An important objective of this project is to investigate the recovery and beneficial reuse of organic matter from the treatment process. We therefore request a proposal for an integrated sludge treatment and resource recovery system, including:
- Sludge thickening and dewatering.
- Sludge stabilization and pathogen reduction using appropriate technologies.
- Evaluation of aerobic composting, anaerobic digestion, or other suitable processes for converting sludge into a beneficial end product.
- Where technically and economically feasible, production of a marketable biosolid-based soil amendment or organic fertilizer, subject to applicable Canadian regulatory approvals.
- Assessment of necessary equipment, additional space, energy requirements, operating costs, and expected quantities and quality of the final product.
- Testing and quality-control provisions for pathogens, heavy metals, contaminants, and other parameters relevant to the intended end use.
Clarification requirement: Please clearly distinguish between treated sludge, stabilized biosolids, composted material, and a finished fertilizer product, and identify the additional treatment and approvals required for each proposed end use.
- Compliance with Canadian Requirements
The proposed plant and its associated sludge treatment system must be designed with the intended Canadian province or territory and applicable federal, provincial, and municipal requirements in mind.
Please identify:
- Relevant design standards.
- Treated-effluent discharge or reuse requirements.
- Biosolids management requirements that would need to be verified for the project location.
We also request details of any previous installations or projects involving comparable technologies in Canada or other markets with similarly demanding regulatory requirements.
- Technical Documentation and Scope of Supply
Please include the following in your proposal:
5.1 Process Design
- Process flow diagram and preliminary plant layout.
- Design basis, expected influent characteristics, and guaranteed effluent quality under specified design conditions.
5.2 Equipment and Infrastructure
- Detailed equipment list, technical specifications, and major component manufacturers.
- Plant footprint, civil works requirements, and installation specifications.
- Electrical load, energy consumption, water consumption, and chemical requirements.
5.3 Sludge and Recovery Performance
- Sludge production estimates and projected recovery yields, supported by stated assumptions.
5.4 Control and Instrumentation
- Instrumentation and control-system specifications.
5.5 Services and Lifecycle Support
- Installation, commissioning, operator training, and technical support arrangements.
- Preventive maintenance schedule, recommended staffing, spare parts, and estimated annual operating costs.
- Warranty, after-sales service, and expected equipment service life.
